  2. Nic Stevens says:

In No. 5, the mountain is Mount Rainier, not Rayner.

  3. Sledge says:

    Mapleton, Iowa… not Meyplotone, Iowa

  4. Christian says:

There is a "Battle of the Civil War"? How about " a battle during the Civil War"

  5. Defilar says:

18 doesn't make a whole lot of sense: "he still remembers how each of them…"

  6. Jo Lin says:

Wow, these pictures are incredible, but I hope these people are only photographers and not journalists. The posts were flooded with grammar mistakes.

  7. Jeff says:

It seems to me the same person is creating all the comments for these, NOT the photographers. Terrible spelling and grammar! The photographs are awesome. If the photographers were truly writing these you'd think they would have at least gotten the names of the places they were photographing correct. (??)

  8. Rhi says:

It is possible that whoever is captioning the photos may not speak English very well. Just a thought.

  9. Bobbin Weave says:

jeez people, so picky picky… isn't this the *Photography* competition? i doubt if these fine photographers are being judged on their english skills…. just sayin….

  10. delainia says:

Seriously, the captions distracted from the beautiful artwork. If blogging is your medium, learn to write!
