Minimalist House Weekend by Slovenian architects

House weekend – the weekend home, designed by experts from the Slovenian architectural studio Architekti Pokorny . Located an elegant minimalist, but very close to its natural surroundings, close to the primary residence of its owner – in a small village Nosice overlooking the scenic mountains Javorniky Mountains (Slovakia).

   Living and working in Bratislava, the customer has chosen to build a country house a quiet secluded place surrounded by beautiful nature.

   Two-storey house, the result of creative architects, unlike the existing neighboring buildings, but not out of tune with them, standing out delicately intellectual simplicity and monumentality of the natural, which is similar to the nearby mountains.

   The warm wooden interiors as if let in the house of the surrounding nature. Spacious living room serves as the main space, where you can gather the whole family or with friends.

   Zones of kitchen and dining room are located right here – open-plan designed to even more help to unite the family in the home.

 The asymmetrical shape of the structure has an open atrium, decorated with panels of laminated wood of pine and larch, which perform the function of thermal insulation and – as with the external and the internal side. These natural materials highlight the proximity of the new inhabitant of village architecture to nature.

 The house is equipped with sauna and jacuzzi, and in the next Weekend House has everything for comfortable spending time outdoors in good weather, at any time of year.
