And Spring arose on the garden fair,
Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb on Earth’s dark breast
rose from the dreams of its wintry rest.
Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all. All through the long winter, I dream of my garden. On the first day of spring, I dig my fingers deep into the soft earth. I can feel its energy, and my spirits soar.
Spring is one of the four temperate seasons, the transition time between winter and summer. Spring and “springtime” refer to the season, and also to ideas of rebirth, renewal and regrowth. The specific definition of the exact timing of “spring” varies according to local climate, cultures and customs.
Spring, the awakening of Life. Spring is when life’s alive in everything. Springtime is my favorite, because I love my flower garden. It gives me a chance to enjoy what God has given us. The beautiful spring came; and when Nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also.
