A prism can differentiate the white color light. The same way, its shape has differentiated the community center in Tyrol from all the buildings of neighborhoods just in a paean way.
It was designed by the Austrian studio Machné Architekten, who did a great job in constructing this structure that houses three district programs. Here, Dezeen showed us that structure can be viewed from many angles forming different views.
The prismatic architecture makes each faced side to gather views of surroundings through the geometric windows breaking the scene. Here, the architect has used timber and fiber cement lading to make you focus on the primary design feature.
Along with glazed foyer, three volumes are united in a town hall, a music center and fire department offices. The architect shares the insight “The use of the site and the positioning of the town hall on the street and the foyer to the north are creating two new squares. The northern area of the building (foyer) goes over into the existing event space and in the south, a new place, which is flanked by the town hall and the fire department.”
Such designs are ultimate and awesome in their own way giving a nebulous idea of upcoming architectural models in the future and for surroundings it presents a modern design. Just have a look at the pictures.
