We have received some pics and information’s regarding a cafe, named L’Atelier Cafe in Cluj, Romania. The project developer says, “The simplest idea was taken into consideration while designing this cafe. We wanted a space that maintains a level of perception regarding the culture.Therefore we just introduced this cafe, which gives a virtual perception which only culture might develop. The complete procedure to built a cafe like this was carried out by a mixed combination of two teams, namely Marius Bocan, Vlad Paul, George Mosoia- on one side, and Dan Paul, Bogdan Goția and Tiberiu Bucur- on the other.
The second team was made up of architecture students. The motto behind their work spirit was to conceptualize space and mankind in one frame. The first team fulfilled their idea to set up a cultural cafe in Cluj’s area. Some of the elements of this cafe are description of some places in Cluj.
After hard-working of several months, the inauguration day was decided, 13 may 2010.Working with volunteers was a good experience. They decreased tension a bit, brought some positive energy throughout the working period.
This is actually a place where furniture’s are not traditional, it’s a different concept. We are enjoying here. It’s not only a cafe; it’s a cultural plan also. It has got workshops, portraits, caricatures etc. Overall, it’s a unique place to have a coffee.
